Our colleague Alan Smith will demonstrate the inner workings of ChatGPT, diving into the architecture of GPT algorithms and fundamental concepts of natural language processing. He will show how to train a GPT2 model to generate song lyrics and explore the capabilities and limitations of larger language models like ChatGPT and GPT4. Additionally, Alan will explain hyperparameters, prompt engineering, and how to use Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns to create a customized ChatGPT experience.

Erik Lenas, Lead Data Scientist at the Swedish National Archives, visits us to discuss the importance of Handwriting Recognition (HTR) techniques and their potential to transform humanities research. He will highlight recent advancements in HTR and AI, and the future role of Natural Language Processing (NLP) for historical texts. Erik believes that combining handwritten text recognition with language models adapted to historical texts will revolutionize research into our written history.

Andreas Wänqvist will present 10 lesser-known CSS features that can transform your frontend coding, including custom properties, grid layout, scroll snap, and color functions. This talk is ideal for full-stack developers who want to update their CSS skills and create impressive layouts. Andreas, a Tech Lead at Voyado, has extensive experience in mobile, web systems, and cloud solutions, and is also involved in open-source projects as an Aurelia Core Team member.

Jakob Ehn och Elin Fokine åker till Sundsvall för att gästa Good Tech Conf.

Johan Lindfors will discuss how to automate and secure your CI/CD pipeline without needing expensive subscriptions or enterprise-level features, focusing on threat modeling to identify threats, mitigations, and verifications. With extensive experience in the Microsoft ecosystem since 1998, Johan founded Coderox in 2011 and has worked at Microsoft and Infozone. Currently, he is the domain lead of the Secure Development domain at Truesec, helping customers with secure development technologies and methods.
